Since I had to work for a significant portion of my stay, I especially appreciated the common areas — the common areas provided comfy seats which were both inviting and practical. The place is spotless. The staff were constantly seen cleaning, especially in the shared toilets and kitchen, which were always well-maintained. The receptionists were helpful, efficient, and friendly. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which made working remotely easy. Overall, the entire setup is thoughtfully designed with the traveler's comfort in mind. You really can't ask for more from a hostel.

Offering a variety of private rooms and single beds in both mixed and female dormitories, the hostel also caters for families and groups of friends. The bright rooms come with either a private or shared bathroom, and some have a small balcony. We had two different reservations for four people and the staff, besides being super friendly, managed to put us all together in one shared room. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable, the mattress was thick and there where two pillows and bed sheets. The shared toilet was also always clean. Perfect location, one block from Plaza Mayor. I would come back!

Set in the centre of Madrid, Hostel Anguita is situated 1.1 km from Gran Via Metro Station and 1.4 km from Gran Via. Location was great, felt super safe (building and rooms super secure), beds were comfy for a hostel, facilities were really good, rooms were good and decent lockers for everyone in the rooms. Bunks have lights and charges with individual usb and usb c ports which was nice. Not a part/super social hostel so nice and quite but still suitable for travelling with friends. Don't expect karaoke nights or anything like that
