Auberge Puntagorda, as soon as I was there, I knew it was actually the best hostel I have been in, ended up staying 3 weeks, it was that good! The place is very spacious with a great kitchen for cooking, a large dining area a separate large lounge area and two different sections of terrace... with a great view of the ocean and sunset, even the night time stars! ... Veronica and her team were very helpful in every way, and did a great job of keeping the place very neat and clean. The town of Puntagorda was sweet, and a great location to stage hikes and other adventures from. For myself, I enjoyed helping another hustler who is starting a farm.

Awesome hostel! I did not speak Spanish but the owners spoke English and were super welcoming. Clean facilities, and quiet at night/ afternoon. Loved the artwork and cleanliness, especially the bathrooms! Great hostel to stay in after finishing El Bastion!

Terrace with amazing view over the ocean and ideal for stargazing at night :) really calm and cute town, you only hear birds singing in the morning (I had the hostel to myself, there were no other guests), perfect for a night if you are hiking GR 130, kitchen was clean and has all basic cooking equipment but better bring your own food and snacks (you won't find many bars/restaurants on the way)
