Beautiful, loving and kind people in a picturesque setting sharing their wonderful slice of tranquility on the mountain. The breakfast and dinner were always great and in January, our dinner was had in a cozy shared space where you get to share stories with fellow guests. Breakfast we had overlooking the mountains in the rising sun. We also really loved Simba the cat, always up to no good and looking for love and boisterous Shanty the dog. We rented a car and were happy with the central location so we could explore every crevice of the island within the hour. But even without a car, there are walks and places to visit close by as well and you can just rejuvenate enjoying the peace and quiet. I only wished we could've stayed longer. I loves the friendly welcome from the staff and how organized the hostel was. Very clean, and there is a lot of space to put your belongings. More of a quiet hostel but for me that is perfect, party outside then come home to a calm environment. The common room faces the ocean and has huge windows which let in a lot of light. City is just a walk away. Overall great hostel.
