Tastefully decorated to delight the eye as well as to invite guests to truly enjoy and relax in this special place, a gorgeous view of a spread of mountains from the front porch, also a starting point for short and longer walks into woods, fields and nearby neighbouring mountain village/s. Plenty of attention to details to make anyone's stay just wonderful (eg the homemade bread is the best I've had in South America and the coffee too!) super clean: bed, bathroom, hosts super super helpful and friendly. Can't ask for more, really! I am definitely taking time off from travel to go back and chill !

Nacuma Garden Hostel - Casa Nacuma se nachází v destinaci Barichara a má zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a bezplatné Wi-Fi. I love Nacuma; it's tranquil, comfortable and well equipped. I was going to stay only a few days but ended up lingering for two and a half weeks! And it was one of the places I was truly sad to leave. It felt like home! The hosts, Camilo and Maria are absolutely lovely. They are accessible but also respect privacy and let you do your thing. Camilo has also been super helpful with tips on what to to in Barichara as well as other spots in Colombia. Natalia, the house keeper is super friendly and a lovely person to be around. I hope to return soon. Just book it! I booked the room with the garden view - 100% recommend! It was also the most peaceful rest I've had in Colombia. Oh, and the showers and bathrooms are super clean and ver close to the room so it being shared is no issue. The kitchen was also equipped for all my needs and always clean.

They really made our stay in San Gil so easy by being so helpful with information and booking activities. Fantastic location right near the square. 100% recommend amazing stay.

Perfectly located in a quiet street near the central plaza of the town. Beautiful property that has preserved architecture from colonial period and a touch of modernity (like the pool and well equipped communal kitchen). The walls of this hostel, like traditional houses of Barichara, are made with rocks and mud which keep the rooms cool during hot and dry days. Best price for a dorm bed compared to other hostel of this town!

Nice place to stay a couple of days. It's a quiet place, surrounding by nature. We met a friendly dog and cat. The owner was not present but managed to provide what was needed for a good stance.
