ライン川沿い、旧市街のザンクト・アルバン門の隣に位置するデザイナーホステルです。歴史ある建築様式と現代的なインテリアが調和した宿泊施設で、無料Wi-Fi、バーゼルの公共交通機関の無料モビリティチケットを提供しています。 St. Amazing experience. I stayed here for three nights in a room for six. Hostel, surprisingly a large building, is located in old and peaceful part of Basel. It's within short walking distance to Rhein river, Munster cathedral and Kunstmuseum tram station. I was given Basel Card at the reception which granted me free access to public transport and 50% discount to all museums. I really liked my room and my bed and I didn't mind the fact there were no curtains. Design of the room is really smart, as personal lockers and sink are separated from the beds/sleeping area with a wooden doors, thus keeping the noise at minimum. To add up, no check-ins are possible after 23:30 which allows you to sleep tight. Toilets and washrooms are on the same floor, just outside of the room in the hall. Breakfast starts at 6.00 am which I found really handy as I checked out early for my flight. Staff was really professional. You can also buy souvenirs at the reception and umbrella as well. I will definitely book again when I come back to Basel. Thank you, Hostel!

Just 300 metres from the SBB Basel railway station (exit Gundeldingen), Hostel by Hyve Basel offers budget accommodation just a 15-minute walk from Basel's city centre. The atmosphere is amazing, i recommend everybody to stay here. if i come back Basel, i will stay here again for sure

Great location, quite quiet, close to the train station and bus and tram stops. Near catering establishments, dance studios. The bunk double beds in the dorm were particularly surprising. A key is provided for the lockers, so you don't need to bring your own. Note that the rosettes in Switzerland are of a slightly different type. The free public transport card provided to guests is a real lifesaver. Breakfast can be ordered for an additional fee (CHF 8). Common spaces are cozy, clean, well maintained. The staff is helpful and friendly. In the context of Swiss prices, the price of accommodation is not very high (city tax - CHF 4 per night - paid at the reception).

I had a few hour connection in Basel. I thought since it is so cheap I am going into a scam, but it was very decent comfortable and worth the price.

The staff are flexible, understandable, so nice and friendly. The lady even checked me in earlier before their opening hours, because I wasn't able to come for check-in during the opening hours.
