Breakfast was really good, staff were nice, nice family who were helpful and let us sort out payment two days later as it wasn’t working with the card machine. They had a kitchen which we also used to cook a few nights. Overall nice but it was more of a pousada not a traditional sociable hostel.

Very clean, comfortable matrasses, enough bathrooms. Breakfast is great for this type of accomodation. A very dynamic hostel. Every day people arrive and leave. Outside area is very spacious and chill. A peacefull lake is nearby with various animals. Great staff, I loved it!

The other gentlemen were very considerate and helpful as well. The dorm beds were super comfortable and the shower rooms were very large. They let us take a quick shower after we checked out and we were all sweaty from touring the old town the whole day (Sao Luis is hot and humid!) Thank you so much for letting us shower because we had to take an overnight flight afterwards and if we hadn’t showered, it would’ve been a long and disgusting day. It saved us. Obrigado!

Almost everyone had trouble getting in because they thought it was just the code. The staff and owner were very nice, welcoming, and I am grateful for their hospitality.
