The owner - Igor is incredibly friendly and helpful. He creates a unique atmosphere in this place. You will feel like visiting old friends since the first second you enter the door. Everything is clean and the bed is very comfortable and private. All ladies will appreciate this - THERE IS A MIRROR IN YOUR BUNK BED! I was so happy about this detail. Rooms and bunk beds are spacious and there is enough space for your luggage, small belongings and movement. The common areas are very comfortable - honestly I spent 80% of my stay here because Igor has thousands of stories which you just want to listen to (ask him about helicopter) and also a lot of knowledge to re-brief with you after your walking tours. All of us staying in the hostel we became good friends and I believe is thanks to Igor and his way of managing this hostel. I really want to come back to Sarajevo just to stay here again :D

Hostel Kucha is located in Sarajevo, just 700m from the town centre, providing views of the city and surrounding hills with its elevated position. Guests are greeted with traditional Bosnian coffee. This hostel is a truly welcoming, clean, and women-friendly place (considering the dedicated dormitory and single-shower bathrooms). Thank you, I felt at home!

I traveled alone and stayed in the girls-only room. The hostel is clean, cozy, and felt like being with family. Perfect location—close to the grocery store, city center, old town, river, and tram stop. The staff was very helpful, and the bathroom has a bidet. I will definitely return if I visit Sarajevo again!
