Dream Factory Melk - Green Hostel is set in Melk, within 15 km of Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand Museum and 30 km of Dürnstein Castle. I stayed at this hostel with self check-in, and everything went perfectly. The owner was always reachable by phone in case of any issues. No keys were needed, as everything operated with numeric codes entered on terminals. The place was modern and very clean. There was also the option to keep my motorcycle sheltered in a covered shed. Highly recommended!

Surrounded by vineyards, this modern student residence is located directly on the campus of the Danube University and the University of Applied Sciences, a 15-minute walk from the Old Town of Krems. Free WiFi is available. Excellent location in the uni campus, was very clean and the staff was very nice, everything went smoothly. Breakfast options are limited but perfect for a short stay.

The innkeeper was very nice and helpful. A generous breakfast. A very comfortable mattress. Good position, about 10 min walking from town centre and rail station
