The first room I got smelled due to the roommates and they were loud at night, but when I asked to be moved to another room, they did, no questions asked. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Kitchen is nicely equipped. Hostel has a warm community/family vibe to it.

This was more like a guest house in Lviv, not a hostel in Lviv. The host was very hospitable and showed me around on arrival. I parked the car nearby as instructed by the host. The vehicle was full of staff, but the host assured its super safe as there was a camera on top of the city being overall rather touristy and safe. The area is quiet but the infrastructure is developed if you wanna travel, downtown is not too far on public transport. The view from the window was great as I was on a higher floor overlooking a church. There was a balcony for smokers. The kitchen is full of kitchenware to cook, there's a fridge, cutlery, etc.

I was curious why this hotel had such high ratings. After checking in, I finally understood. First, there's a large park right across the street, offering fresh air and a great place for walks and exercise, plus it's very close to the city center. Second, the hotel is very clean, and the kitchen even provides filtered water for the kettle. Third, the kitchen offers complimentary tea or coffee bags. Fourth, the owner, concerned about the air quality in the communal housing, deliberately opened the windows slightly and increased the heating, allowing fresh air into the rooms while ensuring they were warm enough. Fifth, the owner is very helpful.

Location was great, very close to the centre and Ploshad Rynok. The Staff was always helpful, generally they spoke English. For those wondering, the basement with the kitchen, the cinema room and the showers doubles as a bomb shelter, for those who may be concerned about this.

I stayed here for just night. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who spoke good English. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The room overlooks a busy square but with the curfew from midnight it's quiet at night so no problem to sleep with the window open.
