Great location on the border of Miraflores and Barranco, so both are easily walkable to. Bunk beds were surprisingly high enough that you could sit up comfortably (which hasn’t been my experience with triple bunks in other hostels). Refurbished and spacious bathrooms, with hot water even at the sinks. Eggs served for breakfast along with two pieces of bread each.

The owner and the staff at Casaroma Hostels are very warm and friendly. The room is clean and tidy and the breakfast is delicious. I like the sincere smile and assistance from each of them the most. If I have the opportunity to return to Lima, I will definitely come back and stay here again. Casaroma Hostels is only a five-minute walk from the seaside. There are also supermarkets and small convenience stores nearby. It is also close to many restaurants and bars. It is very convenient for gatherings with friends. Moreover, although this hotel is located in the downtown, it is not noisy at all. I slept very well. :)

Stay here for 1.5 months and they literally had everything I need. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially the guy at the bar called Manuel. Definitely would come back here for another stay when coming back to Lima.

The century-old building is a gem, if it was a hotel it would be very expensive. It's close to the old town, with a big Plaza Vea supermarket a couple of blocks away, and also near Civa bus station, for long distance buses. The staff was always cleaning the bathrooms, the bedroom was large, comfortable, the terrace is nice, with whith kitchen, places to relax and a bar (although it's not a party hostel, fortunately), people at reception are nice and the guy at their travel agency gave me precious information to get by bus to the faraway Museo de Oro.
