IrelandHad a lovely stay at Antair Budget Lodge in Lake Tekapo. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is peaceful and just a short walk or drive from the lake and main town area.
The facilities were clean and well-kept, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. It’s a great base for exploring the beautiful surroundings without breaking the bank.

Especially the kitchen and the lounge area were super comfortable, and there was a very pleasant atmosphere. In front of the hostel, you could walk directly over a huge meadow to the lake. A supermarket was located 5 minutes away. I accidentally locked myself out of the room at night, and after a quick call, the staff opened the door for me within 5 minutes. This is so great they have female-only room. There were 2-level beds. Each place had its own curtain for privacy, a small light inside, and a socket. Beautiful location on the lake and in the village, a short walk to everything. The dorm rooms have bunk beds with privacy curtains and charging points with lockers to store your stuff.
