Everything. Cozy place with free coffee and snacks. Free washing machine. Great view on the sea. And the most important: a really warm welcome and the owner, William, really makes you feel like part of the family. We had an amazing stay here. William is the best host you can think of. Very professional and fast when it comes to booking tours or diving sessions. But also always in for a good talk, good time, party, he really becomes a friend since the 1st day. The rooms are very clean and the place really has an appropriate name « the nest », it is how you feel staying here. I highly recommend this place for every kind of stay.

My stay in DZ Backpacker was awsome, the girl at reception is so kind and helpful. The place is clean, quite and well located, 5 min from jetty. I was passing my open water diver license and need a place where to revise elearning, DZ backpacker gave me this opportunity. You can also meet travelers in the common area.They can also arrange tours and transfer to Tawau airport. I recommend this place 100%.

Wonderful surprise in Semporna. The backpackers was basic but had everything we needed. The location was so close to good food and the jetty for activities. The staff were wonderful- so kind and helpful with anything/ everything we needed. Breakfast was a lovely surprise too. Would recommend to anyone spending a few days in Semporna
