AustraliaHighlander felt like a home away from home. The room was small but had heating which was much appreciated. The kitchen space had a great communal area to meet other hikers and plan out trips. The owner helped us with hiking advice and transport to the start of the trails. After receiving a nasty/threatening email from the other hostel in town when my plans changed, I was so happy I ended up staying here instead 😊
