The breakfast was amazing. Fresh croissants every morning and it felt good knowing that the first meal of the day was taken care of. It was nice to have little chats with fellow travellers/ hostel staff at breakfast. The hotel was located right next to two shopping malls (great for buying snacks or eating indoors on days it got too cold to be out) and Riga's central train station which was super handy to plan day trips. Christian, Alberto and Agnes (hope I got the spellings right) were absolute gems! So helpful, lovely folks to just chat with. Feel like I've made new friends from around the world. :)

Excellent location in the middle of the old town with amazing view from my bedroom. The hostel is very clean with enough toilets and bathrooms for everyone. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. I have received very clear check-in instrucions so I did not have any issues with checking-in. 10/10

It was a great price and although the kitchen and bathroom wasn’t always spotless, it wasn’t the failure of the host, it was the other guests who are not respectful. There is a huge variety of tea plus coffee that can be enjoyed all day long. The apples were provided ( although some people obviously take more than enough for one snack!) The host responses were fast and friendly. Easy to find and to access.
