The hostel is in front of a beautiful lake where you can take a kayak or a small boat and navigate the water. The structure has a beautiful kitchen where you can prepare your meals and the spacious single rooms are ideal for a nice rest. best hostel in hikkaduwa :) our private room was big, super clean and comfortable, I had the best shower in sri lanka, with hot water!! the hostel is also big and has many spaces to chill, do yoga, playing games (they have an amazing beerpong ;)) you will never be bored! there’s also a restaurant and a salon downstairs, I dif my hair there and I couldn’t be happier with the result!! also oday, the owner, is just amazing🫶🏼 he is so welcoming and friendly, we really spend a good time with him! also, he recommended us the best places in hikkaduwa and nearby, so thanks to him we had delicious meals, saw the best sunsets and visited the best places in the city, I strongly recommend this hostel :) we’ll come back for sure!

Our stay at White House was absolutely amazing, the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka by a mile. The room was spotless, incredibly spacious, and comfortable. We spent five days here and genuinely didn’t want to leave. The highlight of our stay was the host, who treated us like a family and made us feel so welcome. His hospitality and a big smile were unmatched, and we are truly grateful for everything. Thank you so much for making our stay so special. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Amazing location just a few steps and you are at the beach. Uncrowded beach, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. I got one of the rooms which was large and had a comfy bed. The best owner and helpful staff. restaurant/bar view on the ocean just amazing! Really best value for the money. I truly recommend it !!

Room was clean and spacious, bed felt nice, and probably the best toilet I've used during my 12-day trip in Sri Lanka! Nice facilities. Welcome drink was tasty. Very close to the both the bus station and railway station. Would love to stay again!

I had the best time staying at Sanithu homestay and wish I could've stayed longer. The family is so friendly and welcoming, I felt like I was home. The budget room is simple but comfortable enough for the very low price, and has a mosquito net and a fan, which is the most important. I ate breakfast and dinner at the homestay and the food was delicious and cheap. The homestay is located a few kms away from Galle but it's not an issue at all. It is very easy and quick to reach by bus (10 minutes), and the house is in a very quiet and peaceful village which is better in my opinion. Thank you so much, I had an amazing time!
