I really enjoyed my stay. The owner and the staff are very nice and helpful. The owner organizes trips to the surrounding sights at fair prices. The food is delicious. There are very good storage and locking options for valuables and backpacks in the room. You can also use the pool from the hotel.

This is a new property and everything is very new, feels like a hotel really! I was pleasantly surprised and wanted to stay longer. Staff tried their best to help with everything. Very close to the rock, and lots of shops nearby. Comfortable bed, big lockers. Free breakfast also, such a good price for what you get.

The place has just opened and is stunning. A tree house in the middle of the forest with an amazing view on the Lion Rock straight from the room. Everything is super new and clean and the staff is extremely kind and helpful to organize your stay here. Really good and abundant breakfast with fresh fruits and a variety of food. I can sincerely guarantee that no place in Sri Lanka has offered us the same high quality service.

We had an amazing stay at Funk Bunk in Sigiriya! The manager, Nishan, was super friendly and such a great guy. Our TukTuk driver, Samith, was always cheerful and full of positive energy. The food was absolutely delicious — especially the kotthu they prepared for us on the second night, with an incredible sauce! The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Unfortunately, some monkeys damaged the roof of our first room, and it started raining inside, but Nishan immediately took care of it, helped us move to another room, and even offered us a small discount. Everything was handled so quickly and kindly. Funk Bunk is truly a hidden gem with wonderful people! The famous Pidurangala and Lion Rock are close by and they offer to drive you there by tuktuk early in the morning for sunrise or in the evening for sunset. We would definetely recommend to stay at Funk Bunk Sigiriya!

The room is great, the bed was very comfortable, the place is quiet. The breakfast was generous and delicious. I would also recommend to try the rice and curry for dinner that also was delicious!

I had an amazing experience at Sigiri Serenity Hostel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home with their warm hospitality and helpful local tips. The hosts and their project :-) The location, both in the middle of the jungle and at walking distance from the Lion’s rock. The hostel “front yard” is fantastic! The place is simple, with a good bed (with mosquitoes net) and the room has a fan with a remote control. Breakfast was super!
