I met the most amazing people here, the staff was very nice, they even sent my forgotten headphones to my next destination, so I was very grateful for that. I like the common area, spent every night there talking to people.

If you are looking for accommodation where you can have a great time, Shaq is the place to be. Shaq, the host, is super passionate and has an answer to all your questions. In the evening he opens his izakaya and you can have a lot of fun with him and the rest of the guests. For someone who likes to have fun, this is a must in Kanazawa.

The owner created a beautiful lifestyle combined with world class Japanese history houses. Wonderful landscapes window view, full packed kitchen, cafe beans..so on. We don’t have enough time exploring more there.

The location was the best thing about this hotel! For a capsule it was quite nice, the mattress was a lot more comfortable than expected and fairly spacious - the ceilings are pretty tall. Stayed in the women’s dormitory and felt very comfortable and safe, definitely worth the money if you just gonna stay for 1 or 2 nights.

Great location: 5 minutes from Kanazawa station! The hostel is on 3rd floor and there is no elevator, so it can be hard to carry a big suitcase. The common area is divided into common and female area. The common has bar hockers and female area is with normal chairs. Free coffee and tea. Beds are big, with a lot of space above, a wooden crate locker, space under bed for suitcases and a shelf above the bed for else. Towels are changed daily.

You get what you pay for. Cheap hostel. Location is good and bad depending on what you’re planning. If to stay near the train station: great, if you want to see the touristic places, it’s too far to walk all the time, too close to take the bus

Very centrally located, close to everything you need to see in Kanazawa and not too far from the train station by walking. The owner of the hostel is an awesome guy who speaks English very well! Will help you with anything you need even if it’s insights on life about his crazy stories of meeting people ( Ask him about the bus crash)
