The whole hostel was so beautiful and with lots of attention to detail/design. We booked a simple private room with the shared bathroom and everything was very clean. We enjoyed the location close to Mt. Fuji and the little town was very cute. Also just out front is a very popular photo point.

The atmosphere is so great, everything made me felt like home even i was far way from hotel. The share area and bathroom are so clean. The view from my room was even stunning- Mt Fuji😁 Boss was so nice- allowed us for early checking in after coming back from hiking and no extra charge for luggage storage. Would recommend for people who plans for hiking but likes to stay in a more quiet place (two stations away from Kawaguchiko). Remember to spend little for the Mt Fuji view at the train station, it was breath-taking!

We had such a great stay at Backpacker’s House Kamome! We were warmly welcomed by our host who was incredibly kind, always smiling, and really made us feel at home for a few days. As a backpacker herself, she knows exactly what travelers need — the dorm was comfy and really well thought-out, with little things like a multi-port USB adapter, hangers, and cleaning supplies. Plus, she’s always up for a chat, which made the experience even nicer. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the train station, but perfectly located just one minute from Sengen Shrine and the starting point of the Mt. Fuji trail from point zero.

Friendly staff. Check-in was a breeze. Property located some 10 mins or slightly more away from the train station by foot. Neighbourhood is very quiet. The hostel has a barn style like design and the ambience is very homey and cosy. A big lounge area and outdoor patio for one to relax and mingle. There is a bar and cafe but was closed during my stay. Kitchen is well equipped. Use of washing machine is free. But there is no dryer. There are adequate shower stalls and toilets Despite full house during my stay, I never had to wait to use either. Wifi connection is strong. Lawson and 711 are very near the train station. Family mart is some mins walk away in the direction of the lake from the property. My room is modern minimalistic and comes with a fridge and TV, albeit only japanese channels. Bed is very comfortable and duvet is super fluffy and warm. There is also a desk by the window. The best thing is, the window has a perfect view of Mt Fuji. For 2 days I saw Mt Fuji in it's full glory.

Spacious rooms with very comfortable beds and pillows - probably the best ones we've slept on during our entire Japan trip!. Also loved the shower rooms, lots of space! Great location as well. 30 minute walk from the train station and also very close to the lake. They also offer free bikes which was a nice touch!

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available.

This Hostel is the best one I've stayed in for my whole 4 month's trip in Asia. It's clean, it's cozy, the kitchen and lounge/eating area are perfect and the location is very close to everything. But the best ... the stuff is amazing. friendly, helpful and very kind. Doing activities with you like Calligraphy class or making Mochi cake. I don't know why you should look for another Hostel, really go for this one!! I really enjoyed my stay here, thanks :)

10/10 .. very easy to find, just take the bus from kawaguchiko st (green line) to st number 3. Room was spacious, clean, easy check in and out process. The toilet smell so so nice. Overall highly recommended.
