MaltaMassive kitchen and fully equipped. This hostel is beautiful and modern and has places to relax and not just your room area. Beds are comfortable and hostel warm. Showers are amazing and everything super clean. It was our first experience in a hostel, since we were 8 of us, but despite there were another 2 couples in the room, it was no problem at all.

Czech RepublicI have been in this hostel at least 5 times, but this time I was probably the happiest there. The bathroom in the first floor is very nicely renovated and I had the chance to practice some Icelandic with the owners. In general the ambiance in this hostel is really warm and friendly!

I had a bunk bed in a mixed dormitory and the beds were HUGE. They all had a curtain so that you could have your privacy. I would give this hostel 5 stars! It doesn't look like a hostel at all. Beds in dormitory are big and comfortable, each with a curtain for privacy and blocking light. It's very clean, has a lot of spaces outside the room to chill, bathrooms, showers and a big kitchen with a view to have lunch or breakfast. The Barn is definitely a backpacker hostel and is organised as such, with shoe racks outside of each bedroom. Each bed has a place to put their luggage on and there are many coat hangers. Busy, but it's a great location, just a few minutes from the black sand beach and basalt columns. Fantastic sunset from there. The room was so spacious (I had a double room), and the bed was SO comfy! The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with all the appliances you'd need.
