Excellent hostel, especially the facilities, two kitchens, a very large lounge area and plenty of space to interact with other travelers. Well equipped kitchen which is vital in an expensive city. I also liked the vicinity to the Laugardalslaug hot outdoor pool and an excellent gym (World Class). There is a good bus connection to the city centre, bus 14.

The hostel feels more like a hotel, the interior design is really superior, the common spaces as well as the bedrooms. The beds are super comfortable, and the blinds block the lights in an excellent way, which is a must if you travel during summer, and to have a restoring sleep. The location is also perfect, the staff is very very kind and ready to help.

Excellent location, literally just behind Hallgrimskirkja (the famous Icelandic church). By foot the facility is 5 minutes from the Central Bus Station, 5 minutes from downtown Reykjavik and 10 minutes away from Bus Stop 12. The latter a critical stop if you intend to explore the rest of Iceland with various tour companies. Very safe location, easy parking and accessible at all times during the day and night.

It was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in! It was very clean and the best part was that other travellers could leave food in the cupboards. When I saw coffee in the morning, I was over the moon!

Great location. Loved that there's an elevator and self check-in door code, so the whole process was very efficient. There's a bar upstairs with live music shows, but you'd barely hear it in the room which I apprieciate. Lot's of shelves and coat racks, also ample space to open up our suitcases.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
