Hostels in Munnar

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hosteller. We booked the private room with the view over the valley, and it was stunning. Big spacious room with all the amenities needed. The location is beautiful, lots of nature, and the staff is amazing - very helpful and always around!

Quieter option than the Zostel next door which owns the place, we were basically left alone to get on with it so if you want service & sociability maybe look at the Zostel but if you want peace & quiet this is the spot! Lovely comfy dorm with a spectacular balcony view. No local food nearby but the Zostel's cafe is good and not too expensive. Buses to & from Munnar can drop you at the corner (ask for the Moolakada at Pallivasal) for the steep 5min walk down to the hostel, so it's easy to get to & to get into town when you need.

Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, staff were great and helpful. This hostel is great for birdwatching 💯❤️ I stayed for a week.
