The manager and employees are all very respectful, friendly, helpful and kind . I’ve been staying here for a while. It is central near many cafes and u can also walk to shiva cafe waterfalls and walk to mcleonganj . Nice balcony view and restaurant and common space . Books to read and enjoy your stay . yeshi had a nice vibe when i checked in. i actually had a medical emergency while at the hostel. vishal quickly came to my aid, along with anther guest who is a friend of his. vishal got his taxi driver friend and went with me to the hospital. he was kind and comforting, and i knew he would stay with me. the problem was resolved at the hospital. afterward i went up to the lounge area and had a ginger lemon honey tea and talked with the other guest. vishal is just a good human being, and i'm sure his partner yeshi is the same. there are fancier places around, but if you want to be treated like family, this is the place to stay.

The private room was outstanding!!! The most comfortable bed I've had in India, sparkling clean, a balcony overlooking the valley, and large. Great, helpful staff who organize fun activities,and you can't get closer to the mountains for trekking. There were good common spaces as well.
