I had a wonderful time at Lucky's hostel ! The beds are comfortable, the location is right in the heart of the fortress, and the value for money is unbeatable for a single room ! He offered me the services of his brother to go on the Camel Safari, it was a magical moment that I highly recommend ! He was also very accommodating as my train leaves at 7pm and I was able to leave my bag all day, wash up, etc. I even had another chai before I left. In short, everything was perfect in this hostel 😍

Comfortable beds, clean, hot water, nice common areas. Staff is super nice; had an medical issue and the manager took so well care of me during this time. Im very suprised by the standard compared to the price, did not expect it to be this good!

We had an amazing stay in this Hostel, really good location walking distance from the main places to visit, super comfy bed, the staff is super friendly and helpful, they allowed us to take a hot shower after our safari and borrowed some mat to do yoga in the roof top with the Fort view, during the night with the fire pit and good food it's also an extra cool touch. I highly recommend it 🙏🏼

Hostel Camel Castle is One of the Best Stays in India – Truly Memorable! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth by the entire staff. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for—always available, smiling, and ready to help with anything. The rooftop view was absolutely breathtaking—perfect for relaxing with a cup of chai while watching the Golden Fort glow at sunset. The rooms and property were spotlessly clean. Everything was well-maintained and hygienic, which made my stay even more comfortable. You can tell they really care about cleanliness and guest experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Jaisalmer—it’s a perfect mix of hospitality, beauty, and comfort. I would love to come back again!

The owner hanif and staff were so helpful starting with a free pickup from the train station and at the end he even took us to the train station at 2 am for free! He also arranged an 1night 2 day desert safari for us, and was available for any questions we had. The safari he arranged was a great experience. Our camel safari guide babu was the absolute best, really recommend asking for him if you’re planning to do the safari! He brings a great cheerful vibe and cooks delicious meals and chai (and teaches you how to) on open fire in the desert. He is also a very interesting and funny guy and really made our trip a memorable one :). The hostel has a very homey vibe and babu also told us the owner is always very good to him and his staff, which is always good to hear!

    One of the best hostel experiences in India so far. The people who run the hostel are super friendly, warm and welcoming. They organise games on their rooftop terrace, yoga for free, have a great rooftop view and decently clean rooms. Would recommend this stay!!!
