Hostels in Cochin

Location was great, perfect distance from shops and restaurants but still slightly secluded. The host was very friendly and welcoming, also really helpful in planning day trips around the area, he gave great advice and recommendations. The breakfast that was included was delicious. The rooms were clean and the AC worked.

So I had a bit of a nightmare getting into India first as I applied late for my visa (my fault) 🙃 then had delayed flights and arrived super late (2am) I felt so bad but Rish (the manager) was an absolute legend and went out of his way to make sure I not only got to the hostel safe and sound but got my taxi driver to find some food for me before arriving and getting his friend to let me in! He helped me so much along the way with any questions and has been super friendly. The people I’ve met at the hostel have been absolute gems too we all settled in effortlessly and had such a nice time. The hostel is tucked away on a river which is super relaxing and surrounded by nature. It has a real nice vibe about it I would definitely recommend coming to stay here if you’re visiting Kochi :)

The staff is really kind. Helped me with everything. I was not feeling so well and they provided me with a lot of help and wanted to take care of me. So sweet.

My first impression was not the best, the guy sitting in the reception had a hard time smiling and when I asked him questions he made feel like I was a burden?? Luckily the rest of the staff was super friendly and chill especially Gokul made my stay truly special. He was really friendly and helpful guy. He told me all the good places to go visit and eat he even brought my newly wash laundry to my room. When a had to leave to wrote down my travel plan to munnar. The hostel itself has really good facilities and is nice and clean

The Location of Igloo Stays Hostel is fantastically placed in close proximity to Edapally Metro station and LuLu Mall,at a distance of 200 metres or so.

Confortable bedroom, you can use the kitchen and cook, the hoster make our experience very unique, helping out and even sharing moments with us

Babu and Kurumi made the stay amazing. Kurumi is a fantastic cook and I ate her food more times than I care to admit!! Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend for all travellers, especially my fellow backpackers.

Moreover, the hostel exceeded my expectations in terms of the facilities and amenities provided. The dorm rooms were clean and comfortable, and the common areas were thoughtfully designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere for socializing with fellow travelers. The hostel also organized various events and activities, which provided fantastic opportunities to meet like-minded individuals and make lifelong friends. It was an incredible social experience that added immense value to my journey.
