I stayed here a few times, when visiting Mumbai. Its in a great location. 1 minute walk to the local train station. R200 in a taxi to the airport. The locomo is very clean with an open air cafe located on the roof top. They have chill out rooms. The food here is really good. The chef will cater for all your needs. You can go on trips here, the slums, mumbai city tour. Bollywood studios ect. Staff are very friendly and helpful,

Forrest Hostels felt like a small pocket of calm in the heart of Mumbai’s beautiful chaos. After long days wandering through crowded streets, markets, and train stations, stepping back into the hostel felt like returning to a quiet little sanctuary. The dorms were clean and comfortable, but it was the atmosphere that stayed with me — warm conversations, and the kind of stillness that makes you breathe a little deeper. The staff were gentle, welcoming, and the receptionists always smiling. The location is perfect, with everything you need just a short walk away, yet the hostel somehow stays shielded from the rush outside. A peaceful base in a restless city. Grateful for the stay, and I’d happily return whenever Mumbai calls me back.

The staff was truly amazing and helpful. Helped me change money - they called a guy who came and changed my Euros into rupees. They offer activities every day. And we celebrated diwali together. Very convenient and cheap laundry service. The place is super clean and well kept. Great wi-fi. The hostel is in a residential area. 15 minutes away by rickshaw from Juhu beach and Bandra. And 20 mins away from the airport. Nice place to meet people. Very great hostel and highly recommended!
