This hostel is extraordinary! The staff was super cute & friendly at all times, and made us varying breakfast each morning. We booked the double room with balcony / honeymoon suite which had the most stunning view over the jungle and sea. The rooms were super clean, the bed comfortable and we loved our outdoor shower. AC and WiFi worked really well. As an added bonus we got to see monkeys, kingfishers, monitor lizards and huge butterflies right at the hostel. The staff conveniently helped us arrange scooters and island trips. The location is great to go to Karina & Bobby beach, but a bit further if you‘d like to go to Sunset beach. We totally enjoyed the calmness and beauty of this hostel and would always book it again when going to Karimun Jawa. Thanks so much to the whole team!! You are the best :)

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay, our whole family loved it! The environment was even more beautiful and comfortable than I had imagined. It looked even more stunning in person than in the photos online. The shared spaces were thoughtfully designed and very enjoyable, and offered a wide range of services, including breakfast, laundry, bar and rental of swimming gear. The host was also incredibly friendly and attentive, taking the time to explain all the facilities and services in detail 😊. Considering all the benefits included, the price was very reasonable, truly great value for money! 😄

Jojo was an extremely helpful and amazing host. The rooms are very clean and the bed very comfortable. Great location close to Pier. Jojo helped with our snorkelling trip and motorbike hire. Really lovely stay.

The hostel was very clean and the beds super comfortable! There is a nice chill out area and a beautiful restaurant accros the road. Thé staff we're very friendly and helpful. Christian, the owner, took us on an Island hopping trip which was amazing. Would definitely recommend this hostel!

I had the most incredible time here in the Indigo hostel! It is super social, the staff is amazing and helps you with literally everything! They organize snorkelt and boot trips, they help with ferry bookings and welcome you as if you are part of a big family!

The host Ferry was amazing. Great location and easy booking for trips. Breakfast was delicious and so many places to eat nearby. There is also an outdoor chill out area that meant you could relax on bean bags.

I felt completely at home here. The location is perfect - a bit outside the town, quiet, and close to scenic spots - , and the staff created such a personal connection. I had an incredible time at Kalinda Homestay – truly one of the best places I’ve stayed in all of Indonesia. The host, Naomi, is incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming – always with a big smile. She made me feel right at home from the very first moment. The breakfast was delicious and they were very attentive to my personal preferences, which I really appreciated. There’s a water dispenser with both hot and cold water available at all times, which was super convenient. The air conditioning worked perfectly – very effective and much needed. The whole place has a lovely, super clean, heartfelt atmosphere, and it’s clear they put a lot of care into making guests feel comfortable. The bakery that’s part of the homestay is also fantastic – definitely a highlight! I’m already looking forward to coming back and would highly recommend Kalender Homestay to anyone visiting Karimun. You won’t regret it!
