At first, we were a bit hesitant since this property was newly listed, but everything looks exactly like in the photos, and PaddyView Hostel truly exceeded our expectations! The hostel feels fresh, with a beautifully designed interior and exterior—everything is well-balanced, not overdone but still very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, equipped with AC, an en-suite bathroom with hot water, and a comfortable bed. What we loved the most is the plenty of seating areas in the common spaces, perfect for relaxing or working. The location is also great! Peaceful with stunning rice field views, yet still close to the city center. The best decision before hiking Ijen. Highly recommended!

Nice stay before Ijen trek. Clean, new and the host (owner) was incredible! Piked us from the harbor, show us waterfalls, caffee plantation, arrange trek for us and many more. Highly recommended.

Very nice and clean and amazing furniture, but the best part was the lovely staff. We only spent the day as we had been hiking to the Ijen crater during the night and needed a place to have a shower and get some sleep before leaving for mt Bromo the same night but it was a perfect place to do so. the staff was so friendly and we spent several hours just chatting to them. They recommended good restaurants and shared their personal experiences and culture.

The room was perfect!! Very clean and the bed was comfortable. We stayed in order to do the Ijen Volcano and the staff were so helpful with booking and assisting us with pickups. Everything is very well organised and we had an excellent time!!

The owner is such a nice person. He will literally show you around everywhere. He took us to the harbor, school, market, mangroves, dragon fruit field, and more. The bathroom is really clean, and the homestay has an outdoor kitchen *-* it's probably the best stay around this area!
