The thing I like most is that there are windows facing all directions so you can take photos of the aurora without having to go outside in the cold. The hostel is strategically located: a convenience store and a small diner right next door; 10 minutes walk to two supermarkets; 20 minutes walk to the seaside. There is a bus stop right opposite the hostel too. There is plenty of common shared spaces ie 8-seats long dining table; 3 long sofas in the living room upstairs; kitchen equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, plenty of pots + pans, cutlery, and a wide selection of cooking spices. A cleaner comes in almost every day to do the common area. Even laundry detergent is provided.

Convenient location from the airport and the city center. Just a 10-15 mins drive from the airport and 15 mins walk to the city center. Perfect location for accessing the pier for those who are joining the tour. 10 mins walk to the seaside for sightseeing. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The house has beautiful scenery in the living room and you can always enjoy it by having your meal. Well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The staff and clean are super nice and helpful. The house becomes one of the most memorable experiences in Greenland. Thanks again!!

At first, I was a bit sceptical about this place because it had too few reviews - but it ended up being such a great place, which I would recommend to everyone now! The host was so nice, friendly, helpful and responsive. She helped me with all the questions I had before my arrival and then ensured that my stay was smooth and problemless. What I loved most of all was the hotel's location. It is not that far from the city centre, and, most importantly, it is just a 5-minute walk from a picturesque cliff from which you can enjoy a marvellous view of mountains and ocean. It was my favourite place not only in Nuuk but the whole Greenland! It is worth staying in this hotel just to be close to this not-so-well-known place. While someone might say that the room is small, it has absolutely everything one needs for a short-term stay. My room was more than enough for me. The hotel also has a common kitchen with a fridge, dining space and all necessary cutlery. You can store, cook and eat your food, having a wonderful view of Nuuk's mountains. Wi-Fi's quality was also perfect, which is so important in Greenland, I did not have any problems even with doing video calls. Moreover, the hotel was absolutely clean, which was a cherry on the cake. The host pays a lot of attention to maintaining it in a perfect condition. Without any doubt, I recommend this hotel to everyone, and do not let the small number of reviews scare you, as it initially scared me — this hotel is worth staying at!

Mary is a friendly and helpful host. All areas of the property were clean, including the room, kitchen area and bathroom. The property is well-located and close to the centre, coffee shops and supermarkets. I would stay here again. This is an ideal place to stay if you want to enjoy Nuuk at your own pace. Thank you!

The staff here goes above and beyond and the hostel feels like home. I would happily stay there again and recommend it to anyone travelling through Nuuk. They were renovating the second bathroom while I was there which meant there was only one available for all guests. We managed just fine even with 6 people in the house. The terrace/ balcony is fantastic for coffee breaks/ sunsets and the kitchen is beautiful. You'll find everything you need there.
