5/5 – A Cozy, Self-Sufficient Gem in Inverness I absolutely loved my stay at Bazpackers Hostel! Everything went so smoothly—from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The check-in process was seamless, and the self-sufficient setup made everything easy. I received my key, found everything clearly explained, and just settled right in. The beds are super comfy, and I really appreciated the smart compartments around them—perfect for tucking away your bits and pieces. The hot shower was a dream after long Highland walks, and the kitchen is amazing—fully equipped with everything you need, which made it feel like home. Towels included, which is always a plus! What I especially loved was the view of the river—absolutely soothing. And when it was time to leave, all I had to do was drop off the key. No fuss, no pressure, just ease. You can truly relax here. Highly recommended for travelers who value both comfort and independence. I'd definitely come back again!

The location was perfect. Everything you needed was less than 400m walk (grocers, diners to eat, bus and train station). The main man at the front was so accommodating and was able to keep me in the same room even though I had book two nights separately saving me from having to check out and check in again. They offer luggage storage on the day of departure (it is at your own risk) however nothing that locks on your bags can’t do. This helped a lot as I had a few hours to spare between checking out and being picked up. The room was super clean; however, I feel it depends on the people you have to share with (lucky I had super clean people like myself) so that helped.

This hostel has an awesome atmosphere and is very close to the city center. It’s a short stroll to the train and pubs. It has a great kitchen and free coffee as well as tea. The colorful murals and comfy lounge areas make it seem like you are entering a home. I felt instantly welcomed and liked that the bunks had names with a story connected to Scotland.

I had a wonderful stay at Bazpackers! The comfortable bunk bed ensured a good night's sleep, and the clean kitchen was a delight to use. The hostel's proximity to the train station made it easy to get around. But what really made my stay special was the wonderful host lady, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. One suggestion I do have is to implement a code system for the dorms

Everything you'd expect from a youth hostel. Bunk beds with a light each and charging point. Tv room with comfy chairs. Lockers for your stuff. Good location near supermarket, high st and train station. Kitchen was ample size for everyone to use.

Perfest location close to city centre. Nice and cozy atmosphere in this small homely hostel. Comfortable rooms and beds, good and clean facilities in bathrooms and kitchen. Nice and kind staff. Perfest for cyclists - bikes can be stored safely in the small garden with fine views! Will definitely recommend!

Really lovely friendly staff. Everything you need from a budget hostel. The towel hire service was a good send because we had forgotten ours. Great location.

Staff were friendly. Facilities were good: small kitchen with most things you need and a relaxed common area. Great shared bathrooms. Not really any atmosphere in the hostel itself, but a decent place to base yourself in Inverness if not looking to meet people. Bathrooms were large, incredibly clean and had good lighting - probably one of the best hostel bathrooms I've stayed at in a while. Great location - very central.
