I give this hostel 5 stars for sound reliable customer service, well ventilated spacious showers, a good night's rest, spacious kitchen facilities, a comfy living room and value for money. It's like a house in a quiet area with people coming home. No money is wasted on aesthetics but you have all you need. The guests were also nice, a lot of British Irish natives walking in, international backpackers and multi-culti guests. A good mix. The owner is supposedly Dutch with another hostel in Bushmills.

This hostel was really perfect. The host is lovely, as are the other guests. I had a very good (short) stay. Special mention for the location and the bathroom which is very clean and comfortable, which is rare enough to be noted. I'd recommend it!

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Located close to the city center, the hostel is worth the price: the rooms are small but clean and the staff is friendly and willing to help. Individual showers is a plus, and other bathroom facilities are what you would expect from a cheap youth hostel. Good experience overall.

Cheap and cheerful hostel. Good location and clean. I stayed in a private room and had my own en suite bathroom, which was handy. Everything worked as expected and the building felt safe and secure.
