For less than the price of a regular Airbnb (I booked an individual room, not a dorm), i had a big room, beds were memory foam so not my favorite, hot shower with good flow. But moreover, it is really easy to make friends. I stayed there the last two nights of my 3 weeks in Tenerife. Really enjoyed myself. If you prefer to keep to youself, you may not find it as super as I did. Personally, I loved it

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. The facilities were very clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. Most of all, I felt comfortable and at home throughout my stay, it was a warm and relaxing environment.

The hostel is located in the center of El Medano close to the services, (the supermarket on the other side of the road and the bus stop in 50 meters) and the beach. The price includes nice and delicious breakfast with bread, cheese, mermelaide, juice, fruit, coffee, tea, corn flakes, yogurt etc. The rooms with four and six beds are big enough to get luggage to its place and the beds are my favourites in Tenerife, I always sleep so well on them. One of the reasons why I already stayed 3rd time there. Ashavana is a hostel with style, all the details like sheets in the beds, decorations, the names of the rooms etc tell it.

Boasting a shared lounge, terrace and views of city, Gota de Mar is set in Los Abrigos, 500 metres from Playa Chica.

What I liked about the hostel was the staff, cleanliness, rooms. People working there were always cheerful and friendly. They let me leave my bag there after checking out and use public spaces, they provided me with towels both regular and beach, a lock and a key for a private locker, were helpful in any possible way indeed. Rooms and public places were very clean. Apparently it is a priority. I stayed there twice, first in a female room for 4 with a private bathroom and access to the terrace with nice sun beds, second in a female room without these features. It was cozier in the first room but surprisingly shower power was better in a shared bathroom. Wi-Fi was stable, I was able to work every day. The hotel on Santa Cruz I stayed after it was way more expensive but internet there was a disaster. Mercadona supermarket is 4 min on foot, the beach is 10 min as well as the bus station. Very convenient location.
