We stayed at this property for 1 night while walking the Camino Norte. The property is a typical camino style albergue with dorm style rooms and double bunks. The sign in process was easy and the bars were close by for meals.

Centrally located in Castro Urdiales, La Mar is on a quiet pedestrian street, 1 km from the beach. It offers free Wi-Fi and heated rooms with flat-screen TVs.

The room was comfortable and clean. Auto check in went really well and fast. Metro station is 250 metres from the pension. You can easily reach city center from there (one-way ticket is 1.4euro), around 35 minutes. Free parking Puerto pesquero is 250 metres from pension. If you have time you can walk to flying bridge about 2km walking.

Albergue Bide-Ona is located in Portugalete, 7.3 km from Bilbao Exhibition Centre and 11 km from San Mamés Rail Station.

It has a fantastic view on the see, swimming pool and pilgrims food for about 8 EUR (good) plus drinks.Its a bit busy as they also have caravan park but staying in albergue on Camino was comfy. They have a washing machine and a drier.

This is a magical place, you feel like you're away from everything while you're only a 20 mins drive from the beach and 30 minutes drive from Bilbao centre. Friendly, warm owners, HUGE family room, organic garden, farm animals and delicious breakfast with homemade cake. We were sad to leave.
