Great value for money! A wonderful new place in Aswan; super clean, nicely decorated, cozy and with spacious rooms and private bathrooms. It is on the main street, and the Nile view is beautiful. The host, Biba -brilliant young woman entrepreneur, is incredibly and resourcesful. She was also so kind to upgrade my room. Highly recommended for both solo travelers (they have dorms) and couples, and especially for those who want to support young women entrepreneurs.

There aren't enough superlatives to describe Nia as a host. She went out of her way to not only accommodate me, but share her time, recomendations, and even food along with facilitating scam-free tours for fair prices which is absolutely invaluable in Egypt. The hostel is also located in a quaint, traditional Nubian village which isn't touristic and is devoid of the hassle present along Aswan's main drag. Not only would I stay here again, but I'd recommend it to anyone coming to Aswan, particularly if they're travelling solo and value accomodation which is affordable, homely, and authentic.

It's my second time here and I love this hostel. The location is perfect. Close to the Cornish but far from the noise. The view from the private beach is adorable. All the stuff are so nice and helpful. They will do everything for your comport. Thank you so much!

Best views of the Elephantine island. Quiet, peaceful and comfortable. I especially like the walk between the hostel and ferries through the village, where you can witness and experience the local, pastoral lifestyle. They showed me a great hospitality.

It’s a beautiful place, build by a retired mother that worked as a teacher and now wants to leave a bussiness for her two dauthers. You can see the love on the place and wanting to do stuff as good as possible. They have little semiapartments with shared half kitchens (not stove but fridge, a sink, glasses and plates), the room I stayed had a balcony with beautiful views to the nile river, had airconditioning but also a fan, so you can chose. The shower has a heater, and though it has an interesting design just in the middle of the toilet, it works and is very good. The owner incredibly nice, very nice person to talk with. Her dauther is the only one doing Bird watching tours in Aswan (even being featured on the Lonely planet).
