I liked everything. The property is clean and the beds are super comfortable. I liked the hospitality of Mr. Omar, the host. He waited for me at the ferry pier and took me to the property by private boat at his own expenses so that I would not get lost. and when we reached the property he welcomed me with a delicious mint cocktail. He did everything he could to make me feel welcomed and safe. Everything was just perfect. The location is also good, in a quiet part of Elephantine Island but at a walking distance from the public ferry (they only charge 10 Egyptian pounds one way to reach the mainland). Thank you Mr Omar from my wonderful stay!

We got a welcome drink upon entering the hotel. The room smelled so good and was very clean. You could feel the attention of the hotel from many small aspects. The large windows in the room open to the first row of river views, and there is also a personal balcony where you can sit and enjoy the Nile River on your own pace. The hotel is in a great location. They have friendly staff, comfortable air conditioning, and beautiful public spaces. It is ideal for a relaxing vacation that lasts for a few days. Sadly, our trip was too short so we are not able to stay longer. The food in their restaurant is delicious and at a good price, and the fish is fresh caught from the Nile River that morning. The hotel assisted me in finding someone who could braid my hair, the local lady did it exceptionally well, making the braiding hair unique and beautiful. It was a very interesting experience to braid the entire hair. After I came back to Taiwan, many people asked me where I got my hair braided like this. On my subsequent trip to other parts of Egypt, many Nubians came to say hello to me because of my hair, which is so fun. I will definitely come to this hotel for a vacation if I visit Egypt again. The memories of the Nubian Village are unforgettable. All in all, the hotel is worth to stay.

Is a wonderful new hostel that is in the heart of Aswan and with wonderful views and a beach in the gorgeous Nile river. The stuff is amazing and they offer a wonderful clean bed with everything needed. The hosts has been living for a while in the country and she really knows about recommendations. She even organised some amazing tours for us.

The hostel was super clean and comfortable, with a great location and nice staff. I also appreciated the flexibility with check-in time. The breakfast could be improved, but overall, I definitely recommend it.

This is a real gem of a hostel - the position outweighs everything else. Superb location and so lovely to be somewhere so beautiful and peaceful and to travel everywhere very cheaply by boat. The manager Rehab speaks fantastic English and is lovely and incredibly helpful. The other Nubian staff are also lovely. Don’t be put off by the basic shower - it’s hot with a great jet. Yousef the boat driver/helm is a cutie. Breakfast was good but no tea or coffee offered. Evening meal was simple and could be improved but it didn’t matter due to the location - the restaurant on the neighbouring island opposite the temple was great but try to avoid 8-9pm as that’s when the temple light show is on if you want a peaceful meal. Abu Simbel day trip was worth the drive. Visit Elephantine Island from Aswan and wander to the Green of the other side through the streets of the village - real rural Nubian life and well worth it. Also take a Felucca trip (about £5 or 200el per hour). Worth seeing the soul/market for the spice shops, real life and felafel making. Just a gem of a tranquil place to stay!

This beautiful guesthouse hosted by the most wonderful lady has an incredible view of the Nile. The facilities are clean and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and she was kind enough to make us a superb dinner too as we were too tired from our travels to go out. The lovely host is responsive and happy to organise cheap transport for you to go wherever you need in Aswan. It might seem out of the way but the location is perfect for all the sights. I would 100% return here to enjoy the beautiful view, the delicious home cooked food, and the company of the wonderful hostess.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They gave me plenty of recommendations and did not overcharge for water (like many hostels and hotels do). The area felt safe as staff as well as locals from the village would assist if need be.

Property is in a quiet area of Aswan, away from the noisy city. Crossing the street it has an exclusive area to swim into the Nile river or do some kayaking, which are rented for a cheap price. They also offer water and soft drinks and a small breakfast included. You can easily spend many days relaxing in the hostel, without even leaving to do attractions.

Great owner who was very helpful, the room was nice, and I loved the view from the rooftop! The hostel is on the island and is very easy and cheap to reach by public ferry (takes 5mins). Walking around the island is also fun. Check out King Jamaica for some good food. :)

This village is great if you want to experience local life. The staff here are really nice and always ready to help with a smile. It's very safe to walk around this island even at night. I felt comfortable with the Nubian people and trusted them completely. For those seeking conformity, this hostel may not align. But if you want to relax and enjoy the peacefulness while looking at the stars, this is the place to be
