This is the best place to stay if you want to see the arribada of turtles! The starting point of the tours is just right across the street. Ostional is quite far to drive from other locations, it is advisable to drive there in daylight and stay in the village for a night. The house is basic but comfortable, the rooms have AC and stable wifi. The hosts were super kind depsite the language barrier.

There is something very special at Casa Terra. From the moment you walk in you can tell the hostel is about the people, from how the owners share their whole selves in adding art and creating spaces for community, to how they are constantly interested and know about their guests and connecting them to the Samara community. The passion of the owners is palpable. The owners are all deeply experienced in hostels; the rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and the people and vibes are immaculate. It is far away from town to feel secluded and make incredible connections in a peaceful environment (people do not feel a need to be on their phones) while still a short walk (10 mins) to enjoy Samara. The sunsets shared as a hostel are wonderful and drive an immediate sense of community too. For those who want peace and community, this is your place. Very quiet and beautiful location. The volunteers and the owner were extremely friendly and always available for questions and requests! Kept very clean.

The location of the hostel is perfect, really close to the beach. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere in the hostel is very social. There are different activities every day, like bonfire or beer pong. The rooms have A/C and lockers, which is really nice. I would definitely recommend to stay at this hostel if you come to Samara!

Annie and her large number of sisters went out of her way to make us feel at home. Even accommodating us to stay an unplanned extra night in the same room. Everything was as shown on the site and the big washing lines for drying clothes were an extra bonus.

Wow what an awesome place! Pablo and Malvi are super lovely and helpful, and are busy creating a beautiful space for travellers. We stayed in the new tent platform out back - it was peaceful, cool and comfy, we slept great. Kitchen facilities are good, the hostel is clean and airy with different spaces to relax and loads of stunning murals to enjoy. The location is ideal, it's an easy walk into town/beach and had nice sodas and shops very nearby. Quiet back street that felt safe and has off-road parking right outside. Highly recommend!
