Excellent location, easy walk into town but far enough away to be quiet. Property overlooks the ocean, amazing sunrises. Naty was a wonderful host, very accommodating and helpful with local information.

The best hostel I've come across in Costa Rica! I booked for one night, I fell in love with this hostel and its staff!!! I don't name the guys because I would have to write everyone's name, you feel like family and you find a group of friends! The owners Pablito e Marce are a fantastic couple of super nice guys who welcome you, they are incredible people and the hostel is also very clean and super convenient! it is surrounded by nature (a rarity for Santa Teresa) so every day you can see monkeys or other typical Costa Rican animals!! Truly, truly the top of hostels, as they all should be!!! Well done Papito!!!

the personnel was really friendly and great. I even came 5 hours past check in, but p worker woke up the receptionist and she let me check in. They also have great surf instructors with secret spots.

Very centrally located hostel in Santa Teresa with very spacious, large bed, airconditioned dorms. Super nice to have such a big space even in a dorm. Big kitchen, so even cooking with multiple people at the same time was not a problem. A tuna party was organized with fresh tuna, it was super yummy! Marco is incredible kind and will do all to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. It was raining so much for a few days and we got some water coming through on the floor. We all helped him to get the water out and he offered us a beer for our help and teamwork 👍💪. Recommend!

Everything was more than great. After 1 day i already felt like home there. Especially the whole team made the stay awesome! Super close to the beach, nice shared kitchen and open spaces to get to know people easily. Came there twice, at the beginning and at the end of the trip, bc I already missed Eso. Cafecito Surf feels like home. The place is cozy and only a few minutes away from the beach. They offer really nice coffee, and I even had the time to learn how to make "Gallo Pinto" a traditional dish. I spent 4 nights at Cafecito and took 1 surf lesson, this was my second time surfing. Leni gave me the confidence I needed not to freak out. Next time I'll make sure I stay longer to keep learning. Surfing in Santa Teresa is an experience everyone should try at least once.

the staff absolutely made this hostel! so friendly and happy to help with everything from the minute we got there. they make everyone feel so welcome - there is a lovely social but chilled atmosphere here. it is located between the north and south of santa teresa so both are in easy walking distance despite it feeling a little out of town. the dorms were small but it didnt matter as we had curtains which felt very private. my favourite hostel of the trip

The best hostel in Santa Teresa, the owners are super nice and helpful. They have two amazing dogs, I would highly recommend staying in Salty. The rooms are very nice and clean. The kitchen is well equipped as well.
