The best hostel I've come across in Costa Rica! I booked for one night, I fell in love with this hostel and its staff!!! I don't name the guys because I would have to write everyone's name, you feel like family and you find a group of friends! The owners Pablito e Marce are a fantastic couple of super nice guys who welcome you, they are incredible people and the hostel is also very clean and super convenient! it is surrounded by nature (a rarity for Santa Teresa) so every day you can see monkeys or other typical Costa Rican animals!! Truly, truly the top of hostels, as they all should be!!! Well done Papito!!!

If you're looking for a hostel to instantly feel at home, be close to the beach and learn to surf then look no further. The staff make you feel very much at home, the facilities are great and the surfing lessons are the best. I daresay that there are not many surfing schools in the world better to make progress as a (beginner/intermediate) surfer than by the hand of Marcos and Rudy. They are very dedicated to making you better, teach you the required technique and use video analysis to show you where to improve further. Everything!! It’s an amazing place. They just recently opened but manage to do so well! Great staff, spacious and clean rooms, nice social area with a pool and a yoga shala. Just the place to stay at when in Santa Teresa!

I really liked the whole vibe! Everything was very clean and organized, the bed in the dorm was comfortable with good quality bedding, and there was plenty of space to store personal items! The kitchen had everything you need there. The bathroom was clean, and the shower had great pressure as well as hot water!

The best hostel I have stayed in. Ever. Apart from the perfect location with regards to the beach and supermarket, the atmosphere of the hostel was magical. I formed some long-lasting connections with people all over the globe - it definitely encouraged a strong sense of creating a travelling family! The design of the kitchen and other communal areas made me want to always be lounging around in the space - very spacious and comforting. Beautiful plants everywhere which made the hostel feel peaceful and secluded. The volunteers and owners were another lovely addition I wasn't expecting - genuinely good people (with good taste in music too). I could've spent several months just in this hostel and this area - I never got bored of the vibe.

The best hostel in Santa Teresa, the owners are super nice and helpful. They have two amazing dogs, I would highly recommend staying in Salty. The rooms are very nice and clean. The kitchen is well equipped as well.
