It has a great location in the city in el Poblado. We stayed at Rango Hostel for three nights, and we can fully recommend it! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at all times, especially Santiago and Julian. They offer plenty of free activities to help you meet and connect with fellow travelers. We highly recommend the bachata class and the beer tasting. The facilities and common areas were clean and well-maintained. The hostel has great amenities and an excellent location near Provenza. Did I mention that all the staff were really friendly? It’s a must-visit in Medellín!

I stayed at Los Patios Medellín for two weeks, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm, friendly, and so full of life. The people were amazing and there were activities planned every single day, which made it so easy to meet others and feel part of a community. A special shoutout to Camillo for the unforgettable coffee experience, and to Cristian for the fun and delicious cooking classes. Huge thanks as well to Capture Colombia for organizing such great events during my stay (you HAVE TO book a trip to Guatape with them, also Free Walking tour, Comuna 13 and football game if you can). And of course, Sophia and Juliana at the reception, you two were incredible! The animation team deserves a mention too for hosting the best parties and activities every day. You all made me feel like I was truly at home. The location is perfect, the dorms are clean and comfortable, and I loved having kitchens available to cook. The hostel has everything: a swimming pool, a pool table, coworking spaces, and rooftop areas to chill and enjoy Medellín’s amazing vibes. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of comfort, community, and fun: Los Patios is the place. I can’t recommend it enough!
