I didn't mind the lack of a window in the room. There is air conditioning. I had a USB port and a lamp by the bed. Downstairs, next to a personal table and chair, there is also an electrical socket and a lamp. It was clean and tidy, the staff helpful. In the common area: free coffee, water with lemon, next to it there is a microwave, fridge, and a hot water dispenser. The hostel itself is located on the main street, where there is a supermarket with a large sign : Letao Living Supermarket. There is a small sign saying "Bear care" and a small panda bear symbol. At the entrance, take the escalator up one level

It is an English-style inn (a pub downstairs and rooms upstairs) but a real backpacker hostel. The room was clean and comfortable enough. I loved the cool style of the building. The location is superb, at the edge of the central tourist district, within walking distance to many many shops, restaurants, Qianmen shopping street, Qianmen metro station and Tienmen Square (10 mins walk) The staff is really nice and friendly. We had dinner in the pub, good western food (fish 'n chips). It's a good value for many. I would definitely return next time.

Excellent location, 24 hour reception, good backpacker vibes, it was easy to make friends and go out to dinner. I don't understand the horrible reviews on hostel world, the place was fine (although it helps if you speak Chinese or have experience in 1 star Chinese hotels)

Comfy bed, social, washing machine, sold drinks and snacks, bathroom was cleaned regularly, lots of common areas. Cheapest place available in Beijing (although still expensive for what it was). A great location near the subway and a small shop was nearby.

Good value for money especially for Beijing. Much cheaper than Peking Youth Hostel and 10 times the atmosphere. Great common area that was busy and met many people, mostly Russians escaping their country. I am amazed that so many reviews complained of having to make and take down their bedding - what a bunch of whiners.
