Everything is clean and comfortable. It was perfect place to stop and stay over in Nelspruit. Breakfast was delicious, not too salty. Owner is also very kind. I would like to definitely come back again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful bed and breakfast - I can say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the host made me feel completely at home—warm, welcoming, and attentive to detail. The breakfast felt like having a personal chef! The Green Lizard is a superb, well-run Guest House on a quiet leafy street that offers great value. My stay was excellent from beginning to end. The staff could not have been more helpful offering advice and tips about local attractions. Mart, the Manager, is just lovely and a font of useful information. My room was spacious and spotless with a huge, super comfy bed matched by quality linens and welcome air conditioning. The bathroom was massive with a wonderfully refreshing shower. There was even a covered balcony overlooking the well-kept gardens on which to relax. The lounge and dining areas are spacious and airy. I was treated to an excellent dinner of homecooked local dishes and my breakfast surpassed all my expectations. I enjoyed full use of the pool and reading in the tranquil gardens. There was also plenty of free parking available. My only regret was that my stay was so short so I've booked to come back again next month. I can't wait!

This lodge is absolutely spectacular and very unique. Xavier, the owner, is phenomenal. Peter and I had great discussions with him. Lots of fun and laughter. He is an extremely interesting person. Superb food. Great surroundings. The "golden wildebeests" and the "kissing giraffe" on the property are very special. Noteworthy are the 1928 Bugatti and the Triumph motorcycle in the living room. There are vintage cars all over the property. I have never seen a more interesting place like the Hippomoon Lodge. As a world traveller I must admit that this is one of the most spectacular, interesting and fun place I have ever stayed at. Highly recommendable!!!!!! Thanks Xavier!
