I came here for rest before doing the ha giang loop, and it was perfect for that. The homestay feels like you are in nature, but is a close walk to restaurants or the bus stop. An is incredibly kind and the place is beautiful. The food is homemade and authentic northern Vietnamese with a changing menu each night. I travelled alone and An welcomed me to eat with her and her mother. Truly a wonderful time. Couldn’t recommend more.

After a 3 week road trip round Vietnam, this was hands down the best place we’ve stayed in So cosy, warm and spotlessly clean! Beautiful views and great location One thing we have noted during our travels, often ‘homestay/eating with the family dinners’ are extremely expensive with no alternatives, and you pay a huge premium for the privilege. However Village Homestay was the total opposite, extremely fair pricing, very social atmosphere and no pressure from the host at all Lan’s English was perfect which made our stay a lot easier 10/10, 5 stars, amazing

Master was very lovely and entertained us at the dinner where I enjoyed tasty local foods and alcohol. The dorm was spacious and comfortable to sleep. I traveled around Vietnam for 2 months and this homestay was one of the bests for me.
