The hotel itself is a clean and well maintained property run by helpfull and friendly owners and staff. It is litterally a hidden gem.

Lots of massage and motorcycle rentals close by. What made the stay exceptional was the hosts. Was treated like family for my stay there. Was given some snacks for my bus ride when I was leaving early in the morning. One hubby I had a headache and was given medicine. 10/10 recommend Captain Joes. Will be back next time I’m in Hua Hin.

What an absolute gem of a place to stay. We stayed in the little cabin, it was small, but there's only 2 of us and (to our regret) we only stayed 2 nights. (We really wished we had booked longer, but already had advance bookings further south.). The village is small with several places to eat and drink. The beach is really long and was very quiet during our stay. The hosts of Wandee are super helpful, kind and friendly. They have several types of bungalow available and it's just 3 minutes walk from the beach. The garden is beautiful, full of nature and wildlife and also many little art installations. They also have bicycles that you can borrow and can arrange a scooter hire if you wish. This guest house has been our favourite place to stay on this trip so far. Highly recommend.
