It was self checkin but the instructions are clear and it was very easy to find it, open the gate with code and then find the keys in the reception. We would definitely want to come back. The location is perfect, just a few stairs and you are in a historic center, the most beautiful town in Erdély.

Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. I am very satisfied with MER Guest house. Everyone was very nice and polite. Room was nice and very clean. For me, location was great because it's on a hill surrounded by wood so it's very quiet and it is only 100 minutes walk to old town. There is a parking in the street next to guest house.

Staff was very friendly and helpful: they allowed us to check in earlier, then one of the ladies- she spoke German- came and gave us directions to the tourist area of town and suggestions for lunch locations, internet password. Breakfast was quite substantial!!!! I mean it. For a dinner or lunch close by -it is a pizza place advertisement on the street ( but has full restaurant menu) behind the corner few meters down the road - good prices, nice setting and clean. Hotel staff was really, really nice. Room has balcony with flowers.... love it ! overall very very good hotel and clean. Price, comparing with other B&B and hotels in that town, the best deal. Bus station is right there, also. We travel by bus while in Romania, so this detail was very important for us.

The location is stellar, just a quick walk down the path and you're right in the heart of it all. Loved the parking spot right in front of the hotel, huge convenience considering how central it is. The property is extremely clean, the room and the beds were excellent. Loved the big balcony and what a wonderful view of Brasov. And having coffee on the balcony with the morning birdsong...heaven! Nice host, good communication, all was perfect.
