The location was perfect - in such a cute area of Mutrah, within easy walking distance of great restaurants, Omani forts, and the Mutrah Souk. I got a free upgraded room which was really clean and cute with traditional Omani decor. The room had a lovely rock shower with great amenities. The property felt very safe as a solo female traveler!

From the very beginning our host Haroun was generous with his time and accomodating our request for an extra two days. This was a last minute change to our trip and it was amazing how quick his response time was. The quant fishing village of Qantab is a place which feels like the Mediterranean in the Middle East. The village has a supermarket for most of your needs and is still very close and accessible to Muscat. The room itself was clean with all electronics and airconditioning working perfectly. It was easily one of our best stays this year and I would recommend it without hesitation to all. The only point to note would be to have a vehicle to get around.

The kindness of the owner, price quality, the luxiourous homestay etc. I can name a lot more positive aspects about this homestay. We landed in Muscat airport at 05:00 AM. We didn’t wanted to sleep in the airport so I saw this online and booked it. We we’re all tired and we’re praying that the owner would let us in around 06;00 AM. We called the owner once we’ve had arrived and from that moment, the stay was amazing. We recommend this stay to everyone!

The location was optimal, near the beach and Qurum park, safe, within villas area, not far to restaurants and shops. Owner is very helpful and helped us with all we needed. Area is very safe as all Oman. Rooms are spacious, with AC. All services provided were excellent and and above our expectations - THANK YOU! Hope to return in the coming years.

I absolutely loved hearing the waves the waves at night from my room and the beach being just a few steps away. Qantab itself is such a gem and Salaam is nestled perfectly between the mountains, but still close to the city. Also, stunning hikes close by!
