The host was very friendly, we had a few nice conversations, and he even recommended a beautiful hike nearby. We also shared dinner together and talked about our cultures, which made the stay feel very personal. The property was clean, comfortable, and great value for low-cost travelers. Everything was perfectly fine.

The Misfah Heritage house is beautiful. The location, the food and our host Hamed were all excellent. The host sat with us after dinner to talk about the history of the village. As all the other reviews state , the owner Ahmed is very obliging and a really nice guy.. He shared our meal with us and it was great talking to local who was born and raised in the village. It is a very old building that has all you need for a comfortable stay. the breakfast and dinner were tasty and plentiful and served on the terrace with an amazing view overlooking the valley and the palm trees. The premises is very close to the car parking area of the town making getting your luggage to and from the car a breeze. Be aware that most of the other accommodations in town are a fairly steep walk down into the "village " proper. getting to some of the other accommodation will require you to lift you bags as the paths are not even and have steps. The walks around town are stunning and if you have the time recommend a visit to Al Misfah

Located in the village of Misfat Al- Abriyeen in the state of Al-Hamra, Al Misfah Hospitality Inn is about 200 kilometers away from Muscat. Beautiful place in a restored traditional clay house located in an incredible panorama. Dinner and breakfast are served on a terrace with a great view and are tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner introduced himself during dinner and invited us to a complementary tour through his museum in the morning, which was also brilliant. He is writing a book about the history of Misfat, so he had lots of knowledge and interesting stories to tell. Highly recommend this place!

We are backpacking round the world for 6 months now and this was the most clean and hygienic place we have stayed. Super comfy bed and good kitchen facilities too. Ahmed is a great host; provides you with some insightful local tourist info which is a great help.

Sunset sky is really an amazing place to stay while visiting Misfat al Abriyyin region. The view from the terrace was exceptional! Room was very specious and clean and host was super friendly and helpful when it comes to nearby attractions. We also tried an authentic delicious Omanian dinner served by the host at our terrace.
