Leigh is an amazing hostess... super friendly, warm, and welcoming. She made us feel completely at home, gave suggestions about the local area, and chatted to us about life in New Zealand. Our cabin with a garden view was very cosy and had comfortable beds, which we loved sleeping in. It is set in a beautiful garden. We enjoyed exploring Motueka, had a fabulous day at the Abel Tasman National Park, and at Kaiteriteri Beach. We would recommend Leigh's place.

The convivial chat and banter with other guests was delightful but we had our own privacy as well. Excellent value for money in desirable Richmond. Five stars: would highly recommend.

Our host, Mark, was not there so we had the entire beautiful house to ourselves. We soaked in the jacuzzi, washed clothes, cooked dinner in the well equipped kitchen, and spread out everything we owned to get ready for a 3-day tramp in Abel Tasman. I wish we could have stayed longer.

It was the perfect escape from the busy towns at the end of the day, while being only about 20 minutes away from Nelson. The huts are such a cool concept, beats a hotel room any day of the week!
