Communication was good. The place is up the hill, with a nice garden and a beautiful view. The inside is nicely decorated, I liked finding a tag with my name on the door of my room. Everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was great, with home made butter, some jam, bread and... Pancake batter to make my own pancakes. I had a tight schedule but I would have loved spending more time at the house to just relax, that seemed like a perfect place for it. I completely recommand staying here and will do so again if I ever come back to Akaroa.
