This place is just the best. If you’re seeking a true, down to earth Nepali experience, look no further. Such a WONDERFUL, caring family surrounded by exceptional nature, freshly preparing every meal with ingredients all grown right in their garden. The room is simple yet totally sufficient, if you’re wanting swanky hotel room comfort then you don’t suit this place anyway. It’s just bliss, honestly. The best experience we've had in Nepal. Mira takes care of every detail to make you feel almost part of their family. The room is extremely clean and comes with all the furniture you need, including a small kitchen that provides all you need to cook and eat in the table provided in the room. If you want, you can also ask Mira to cook dinner or lunch for you (her food is incredibly tasty). We were very sad when we said goodbye. We deeply recommend you to stay here.

We stayed in the heritage room overlooking the Square - and as described you need to climb the stairs to get to this room and the private rooftop area. There are not many places you can get to stay in a hotel with such history and heritage. Very happy with this hotel, and room selection. if you have mobility issues - this may not be the room for you - select an alternate room on a lower floor. Meals at this hotel were fabulous, loved the soda drink menu! i tried nearly all of them ! Meals are served in a very beautiful internal courtyard decorated with wood carvings and plants. Owners and staff were very very helpful with any of the questions we asked, and assisted us with our bags on arrival and departure; organised taxi to the airport (excellent rate). Located on a nice quiet square, and it was magical to sit by the window and watch the scene change during the day. Easy walk from this hotel to the other squares in Bhaktapur. Thoroughly recommend at least 1-2 nights in this city to explore and unwind. Excellent wifi at all time, in our room and in courtyard. We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel and will defintely be staying here again.
