The moment we arrived, we experienced above and beyond hospitality. We were picked up from the bus station upon our arrival and taken to our room. The facilities were clean and when we asked for blankets due to the cold weather, the response was very quick. The wifi is good. The masala tea is great and the organisation of activities was very seamless. The guides we had kept us safe for our two day walking safari trip. We had very knowledgeable guides who were passionate about their profession and extremely professional (Tilak and Som). They answered any and every question we had. I really do recommend spending the night during the safari as you get to experience the sunset and the nighttime right by the jungle. We saw elephants, rhinos, bears, loads of different exotic birds, peacocks, monkeys, etc. We were two girls with our two guides and we felt very safe and that the guides are in control. Upon our return, we spent one more night in town and then the owner kindly took us to the bus station. I would come back 100% and recommend to friends and family. A rhino even came to chill at the property early in the morning.

Vicky & his team were so accommodating and provided us with lots of information about the town. We ended up booking our canoe & Jeep Safari with Taras guesthouse. The prices are competitive & it was comforting to know we were only supporting ethical operations. The room is basic but more than what you pay for. Overall we were very impressed.
