We loved the little secluded huts and the field with cows that would come overnight and leave in the day. It was nice and calm, which was a good break from the tourist packed beaches and perfect for a nice swim in the pool after a long day. The owner was the nicest woman and had the cutest cats. She was always ready to help us. She had excellent recommendations and told us stories about Langkawi’s history and legends, which only added to the magical feeling of this oasis. A lovely stay that made this trip so memorable!

Whether you’re heading to the beach, exploring local markets, or hiking, everything is conveniently accessible. Your experience is made even better by the owner, Mun, who is known for his warm hospitality and dedication to making your stay memorable. He goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and relaxed. Plus, you can rent a scooter or motorbike directly from Mun for just 35 MYR/day, making it easy to explore the island at your own pace. Special recognition goes to Mabel, an international volunteer, whose kindness and excellent service add to the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the villa. Wonderful place to enjoy Langkawi and relax. The treehouse has been lovingly designed and is quietly situated between trees overlooking the pool. In a short walk you can reach the beautyful and calm Tengah beach and in 15 min you are on the busy Cenang beach if you like more action. You have many food options within walking distance. The hosts were great and the american breakfast option there was very good! We can warmly recommend this paradise place!

We recently booked a 1 night staycation at bloc.guesthouse and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The check-in process was smooth, The room was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. We especially loved the cozy bed and the view from the patio. we enjoyed One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the breakfast. In the morning we were treated to a delicious nasi lemak with kueh plus the great coffee. It was the perfect way to start our day. It truly felt like a mini-vacation without the stress of travel. If you looking for quiet,privacy place to stay? This is the place. The place was newly open (just one month) and of course there is maintenance but we don’t mind about that. Work on going on the garden area. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Remote location, very quiet and peaceful, the villas are lovely and well equipped. the 3 people taking care of the facility are very kind and efficient. The breakfast are excellent .

This place was absolutely amazing, beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly quiet. Nestled deep in the jungle, it offers a true connection with nature. Exotic birds visit daily, and monkeys stop by, yet you still get the silence and serenity you might be looking for. It is so remote that you will need at least a scooter to get snacks, drinks, and other essentials. It is very private, so it has to be remote enough, but the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable, so you might not even need to leave, though you definitely should, at least to explore. Each morning, you will be treated to a lovely breakfast with an amazing cup of coffee. I have been told that the main beach access has been closed by the owner, but do not worry, the staff has a secret ace up their sleeve. Just five minutes from the villas, there is a hidden private beach where you can have the entire place to yourself. Since this place is in the middle of the jungle, it requires constant maintenance. It is more like an ongoing repair cycle—by the time you finish repairing from point A to point Z, points A to D already need fixing again. That is just the nature of it, and honestly, there is nothing the owner could have done better than keeping up with this never-ending cycle of maintenance. Now, the best part of my stay was the people. I do not even want to call them staff because they are so much more than that. I would rather call them the Host-Family because they treat you like a long-lost relative visiting from abroad. They are the true highlight of this place, even more than the villas themselves. They completely respect your privacy, but if you are open to conversations, you will quickly see how warm and hospitable they truly are. Their kindness and interactions will make your stay unforgettable. Thank you all for these truly beautiful days.
